Over the next couple of months Newton Press is working closely with Design365, Newton Aycliffe’s leading web design company, to improve the Newton News community website.
This website will be all about our community and what is happening on the town and we invite our readers to submit their ideas on what you would like to see on your site. We have some fantastic ideas of our own lined up, but would also like your input, after all this is for your information, use and enjoyment.
Alan Foster owner of Design365 says: “As an Aycliffe lad I am really proud to be working with Newton Press on this exciting venture. I know how committed the team at Newton News are at delivering current and topical information and helping Newtonians share our news and I know the new website will further enhance opportunities across the town for improved communication.
Paul Howarth says: “We chose Design365 as they have a fantastic reputation across the north east and we are lucky enough to have them on the town. They have helped us with other smaller projects, but we want this new website to be a beacon for Newtonians and we know Design365 can deliver. We want this website to be something special for the town for all ages.”
There may be some slight disruption to the Newton News website over the next couple of months, whilst work is underway, but we aim to complete the project by the end of September. The facilities planned will offer visitors to the website a very informative and interactive experience.
We are very proud of our town newspaper, which was first established in 1948, helped along by local residents who constantly supply us with great news items and stories.
We would like to hear your suggestions on how we can improve the site further. If you have any thoughts or ideas then please email paul@newtonnews.co.uk
