We are a group of local lads who have been supporting Newton Aycliffe Football Club for twelve years, home and away. Before this season started we were the first organisation to sign up to the new sponsorship scheme, CLUB 30. The benefits of the scheme really appealed to our group so it was an easy decision to invest.
For last Saturday’s home game against Ossett we received one of the many benefits on offer and we were proud Match Day Sponsors.
Exclusive photographs behind our pitchside board along with the ‘Gaffer’ Brian Atkinson and some of the players, was a real highlight.
Inclusion in the Match Programme, which contained an interesting description of us, attracted many comments from other fans during and after the game.
To be Match Day Sponsors for such an entertaining game and emphatic win for the team, was the icing on the cake.
But we’re just a small group of dedicated supporters, who saw value in investing in our town’s team. What we struggle to understand is why so many other local organisations can’t see the value and kudos in investing too. PR and social media don’t apply to us but surely, it must appeal and be of immense value to many businesses in Newton Aycliffe.
The team has achieved tremendous success in the past few seasons and with increased support can go even further.
NAISC are calling on local businesses and, we’ve certainly got our fair share of global players, to join us by signing up to CLUB 30 and provide the team with more support.
We’d also like to encourage all Newtonians to come along to the games and join us in cheering the lads on to further success. It’s a brilliant afternoon, or evening, watching some quality football, whilst enjoying tasty food from Victoria’s Kitchen and for those who like a tipple there’s a fully stocked Can Bar.
COME ON . . . PLEASE JOIN US.
Cheers, all the lads from NAISC.
