A big thank you to all who have supported the Children’s Film Club at St. Clare’s Church during the school holidays and we hope you have enjoyed the choice of movies.
We continue with a new release “All Stars” film on Saturday 7th September at 2pm. Starring Ashley Jensen and Kimberley Walsh the fillm is about a group of children who attempt to put on a talent show in the hope of raising money to avoid their “after school” from closing.
Come along – each child will receive a free jumbo ice-pop!
The weekly “Feel Good” films continue in September – details are found in Newton news and are displayed in the church porch window.
“Shine” the children’s  community choir welcomes boys and girls back from their summer break on Monday 9th September at 5pm rehearsing in the back hall. New choir members are always welcome to come along.
on Tuesday 24th September St. Clare’s will host a Bon Marche Fashion Show at 10.30am. Tickets are £2 and include a Cuppa and home-made scone. There will also be a Mini Toddler Fair where good quality children’s books, toys and games will be on sale.
A date for the diary is Saturday 13th October at 4pm where everyone can enjoy a “Messy Harvest Afternoon” with fruit and veg painting, sandplay, playdoh, Autumn leaf collages, to anme a few of the activities on offer. More details nearer the time.
