Jamie Hawks a Tattoo Artist for the last 3 years is the latest tenant to open his own studio in the Blue Bridge Centre owned by Newton Press. Jamie (28) comes from London and moved to Derby to study animation for which he has B.A. Hons Degree.
He moved to the North East in 2011 to take his apprenticeship in tattooing and began his art the following year in cover-ups, with a specialism in animation and realism.
He has worked at numerous Tattoo Conventions and has taken guest studio spots all over the UK. Jamie will still work free-lance in Denmark twice a year at an Iron and Ink Tattoo Studio where he has a great reputation.
He is a sponsored artist by Jungle Tattoo Supplies and his work has been published often in “Skin Deep” the U.K.’s top tattoo magazine.
