Tesco is pleased to announce they have started to refurbish their Aycliffe Store from the 3rd of January with the minimum disruption to customers and business as usual. This exciting new development will introduce four favourite Arcadia Brand clothing stores to further enhance the shopping experience at Newton Aycliffe. These include Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Evans and Burtons.
These fantastic clothing brands will save residents from having to travel to Darlington or West Auckland, giving you the choice of improved shopping in Newton Aycliffe Town Centre. Helen Maynard Store Manager told Newton News: “As we improve the store, it’s business as usual and we are here to help. Our team will go over and above their best to do what they can to ensure your shopping trip is as easy as possible. The layout of the food shop will stay exactly as it is, with minimal disruption as we replace equipment and install new refrigeration.
We are excited to tell customers some of the improvements to existing departments include a new style Bakery where you can pick your own freshly baked bread, a New Fruit and Vegetable department. Our recently refurbished New Café was the start of the improvements and is already delighting our customers with Costa Coffee and freshly made Food, to order.” “Myself, and my team look forward to seeing you in the shop and experiencing these exciting changes with us whilst we improve your shopping visit” added Helen.
