Saxby’s Restaurant hopes to serve a little taste of home when it opens on the 14th February at the Moore Lane Sports Club. The brainchild of Kathy Young who after 20 years working at PlayDays Nursery decided to take the plunge and become her own boss.
Kathys experience and qualifications meant that she has had the opportunity to cook for Princes Diana at the Golden Heart awards, and for distinguished guests at Mansion House and the Guild Hall in London.
She is also familiar with cooking at sports grounds having previously worked at some of the London’s largest football clubs and The Oval cricket ground.
Kathy has been overwhelmed and is very grateful for the support she has received from family and friends and in particular her niece Donna Sowels who will be working alongside her.
