Now that the nights are coming in dark earlier each day it heralds the start of Autumn and then Winter.
We would like to try to be able to meet many older people who sit in their homes by themselves day after day or any person of any age suffering or recovering from Cancer/long term illness.
Our hopes are that we will be able to bring them to our Western Area Community Centre every Tuesday or Friday.
Offer them morning coffee/tea and then a two course hot meal. The cost will be £3. There will people to chat to with similar problems or possibly we will be able to point them in the right direction if they need help or have problems.
Too make it easier we will pick them up by car or minibus for the first couple of weeks to enable them to join us without having to meet total strangers alone.
