Newton Aycliffe based strength and conditioning gym CrossFit All Out, has introduced some brand new sessions for the new year, in an effort to meet the needs of families and older people. The sessions are proving to be a hit!
CrossFit and CrossFit kids Coach Allen McGee said “During the winter months it can be difficult to get the kids active due to the weather. The new Sunday afternoon family sessions offer a nice alternative for families to spend quality time together, working as a team, getting fit and having fun all at the same time. It’s an ideal Sunday afternoon activity for the whole family aged 3+.”
“Family sessions have been really popular during school holidays but we know that parents often struggle to get to the gym regularly or have to pay for childcare whilst they exercise. We always keep sessions as affordable as possible so we offer sibling discount plus adults come for free.
The sessions are on a pay as you go basis to ensure families have the flexibility of attending the sessions that fit with their busy schedules” said Vikki Anderson, Business Manager.
Head Coach Terry Anderson added “CrossFit All Out is always looking to improve services, improving health and fitness in the local area and targeting those who may not be staying active and looking after their health.
Our new weekly 50+ sessions led by Coach Dan Boulton, which started in the new year are designed to cater to all fitness levels but primarily delivering functional training at a mild to moderate intensity.
Too many older people are becoming less active and therefore less able, it’s a serious issue that we are looking to assist with and help keep people active and healthy, living a strong life for as long as possible.”
