The Education Centre for Children with Down Syndrome (ECCDS) held a launch event last Saturday prior to opening for regular sessions at the Pioneering Care Centre.
The Centre is committed to helping children and their parents acquire essential skills that will equip them to meet the future with confidence. Families, volunteers, staff and carers were invited to attend to have a look round their new premises.
The Centre will be based at the PCP from August and they welcome children from across the North of England, including Durham, North Yorkshire, Cleveland, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria.
