Starting next week we are pleased to host an exhibition of work by Colour your Life participants in The Greenfield Gallery. ‘The heART of Friendship’ opens Thursday 10th January 2013, and will be on display until Wednesday 30 January 2013.
‘The heART of Friendship’ is the theme that clients chose; they wanted to highlight that Colour your Life is not just about the enjoyment of creating art, it’s about making new friends and the importance of friendship in achieving quality of life.
Colour your Life is the name of the ‘Arts on Prescription’ service funded by NHS County Durham and aims to provide free access to arts activities to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. The exhibition will include many of the crafts participants have produced with guidance from professional artists who are working in the marketplace today.
