“A Splash of Colour,” work by Bill Harris is from Thursday 19th July – Tuesday 7th August 2012
This fantastic new exhibition  comes to Greenfield Gallery next week. Bill believes that line and colour are one of the most important aspects of his work, as they can be both an exciting and provocative means of expression.
He uses imagery from the County Durham landscape, as he was born and still lives in the area. The images are then manipulated and developed into the finished artworks, which use strong flat primary colours in a stylised graphic way. This promises to be a colourful and interesting exhibition of work by this talented local artist.
We are holding a special free “Meet the Artist” event on Thursday 19th July in The Greenfield Gallery, from 6-8pm. This is an opportunity to meet Bill and find out more about his work, as well as being one of the first to see the exhibition “A Splash of Colour.”
