The adult sessions will include the chance to learn more about mixed media, painting with acrylics, photography, drawing skills and creative writing and are completely free. The sessions offer the chance to learn new skills and meet up in a welcoming space with like-minded people.
We have an exciting new Creative Explorers course for young people. The next course will begin on Thursday 18th January and offers a fun free activity each week with a chance to learn new skills, build confidence and learn more about the environment. Suitable for age 7+, the sessions are led by professional artist Dawn Belshaw from 4.00pm – 5.30pm. It was great to see so many families enjoy our festive activities and we hope to welcome you back this year.
Our Men’s Cree group meet each Monday from 10.30am – 12 noon and are always busy making and creating to support the community and improve their own wellbeing. This season they are looking to make items to improve our environment and share with the community, the group have a history of contributing to the community with projects such as The Little Library project, building a super-shed for the PCP and, more recently, making commemorative benches to share with local care homes.
