Hi, my name is Andy Boyd and I am the new Neighbourhood Police Sergeant for Newton Aycliffe. I have been with Durham Constabulary for 23 years and have spent time working on response, CID and Neighbourhood teams at Bishop Auckland and Crook.
Until recently I was the Neighbourhood Sergeant at Shildon, a role that I took immense pride in, fostering fantastic relationships in the community in order to problem solve around local issues.
In my spare time, I coach youth rugby at Bishop Auckland Rugby Club, follow Newcastle United Football Club and enjoy spending time with my family.
Together with my team, I look forward to getting out into the community and working with partners to tackle the issues that affect you.
