The Siesta Coffee Shop & Drive Thru was officially opened by Town Mayor Jed Hillary on 20th October 2016 on Durham Way South on the Business Park. It offers an ideal meeting place for people to gather for lunch or enjoy their own brand of coffee. Business people can meet to discuss work in a relaxed environment as well as the general public who pass through. The drive thru provides a great service for factory workers and employees of surrounding businesses to grab a quick bite or drink while on the move during their busy day. EHL UK, a successful Building Maintenance and Facility Service Company and Gym, have provided this new amenity and have transformed the site from what was a derelict building to a very attractive site. The first customers of the Coffee Shop was the Woodward family on their way home to Doncaster after visiting Aycliffe. They were very impressed by the friendly staff, shop layout, quality of food and beverages.
