A new weekly club for Senior Citizens starts at The Phoenix Club, Macmillan Road (formerly The British Legion Club), Newton Aycliffe. The meetings will be held downstairs in the Concert hall which provides disabled access and toilets. The club will be called NEW PATHWAYS NEW FRIENDS 4 SENIOR CITIZENS TOGETHER (for ladies and gentlemen.) The first meeting is on FRIDAY 28th FEBRUARY 11.00am until 3.00pm every week . Have a cup of tea with your lunch 2 for £10. A lift is available to the upstairs restaurant. Play board games, dominoes, etc. etc. Bus trips will be arranged, along with Theatre visits plus activities of your choice. “Come as strangers and Leave as Friends “ will be our Aims. And motto.
