The Scarlet Band 16/ 16A ends on the 31st December 2012. The new Central Coaches 116 starts 2nd January 2013. The new Scarlet Band 16A starts on the 2nd of January 2013.
The new 16A will have a Monday-Friday and a Saturday Timetable, but only run one bus to Darlington early in the morning and one back from Darlington in the late afternoon! [Not Darlington to Newton Aycliffe in the morning and back in the afternoon!] The route will be via School Aycliffe and Heighington.
The Link 2 service is available for some and the new 16A Timetable should be available soon at Newton Aycliffe Library. It is online on the County Durham Interactive Bus Map Website, via “View Changes to forthcoming Timetables.” It should also appear soon on the Scarlet Band Website!
