My ambition to start a new badminton club for children in Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas is coming to fruition.
With the Covid-19 guidelines in control, activities are being restricted, I am working with Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre to set up, for children, an introduction into Badminton.
I am a Badminton Level 3 Coach with 47 years experience and the winner of several awards and believe that it is an ideal time to help children get into sport.
The new club will start, for children aged 6 to 18 years of age, on Monday 11th January at 4.00pm at the Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre (next to Tesco). Booking is required, please email peterwalton1@aol.com
