Tuesday 26th February saw a very competitive Hi5 Netball competition for Primary Schools taking place at Greenfield School organized by the Sedgefield School Sport Partnership.
Medals were up for grabs and so was the honour of representing Sedgefield SSP at the County School Games Final at Maiden Castle on March 22nd.
The whole event was organized and umpired by School Games Volunteers from Greenfield school and Sedgefield SSP. The matches were very competitive with all of the teams improving with each game.
Byerley Park proved to be a very strong squad winning most of their matches comfortably and showing excellent footwork and passing skills. Sugar Hill with a squad of year 5’s showed great improvement throughout and will be a strong team next year.
Byerley Park were pushed hard by a fast moving Thornhill team in the final but ran out as the Champions and will go on to the County Games Final – good luck!
Final Placings:
1st Byerley Park
2nd Thornhill
3rd St Michaels
4th Sugar Hill
