Hello everyone, here’s a brief update of what has been happening over the past week or so;
Last week, a prolific shoplifter was stopped by PCSO’s in the town centre. He was then arrested, taken to custody and charged with several shoplifting offences.
On Tuesday, a male was arrested for public order, and for assaulting a police constable, and was transported to custody, where he was charged with both offences, and appeared at court the following day.
On Friday, a male was arrested for breaching bail conditions, and on suspicion of stalking.
A Traffic-183 warning notice was issued to a youth following a report he had been riding round on an off-road bike, causing a nuisance to the public.
Several Safer Homes visits have been completed over the past week, where vulnerable residents have been given pieces of equipment to make them feel safer in their homes.
PCSO’s Kipling & Todd visited the Beaver Scouts on Friday evening, who have been completing a Safety Badge. The group had the chance to ask any questions and have a look inside the police van.
On Saturday, a male was arrested on suspicion of the importation of cannabis into the UK.
On Sunday, a male was arrested for a number of offences and taken to custody, and a stolen quad bike was also recovered during this time.
More Op Trailblazer patrols have been completed over the past week, focusing on Anti-Social Behaviour hotspots.
