Here’s a brief update of what has been happening over the past week or so;
Last Saturday, a male was arrested for several breaches of an electronic tag and was transported to custody.
Last Sunday, a male was arrested on suspicion of assault and causing criminal damage to a house, following an incident in Kirkstone Place.
Two Herbert Protocols have been completed over the past week. These are completed to help find vulnerable residents living with Dementia/Alzheimer’s should they go missing.
Two females have both been cautioned over the past week after committing several offences.
On Wednesday, PC Roberts and PCSO Todd attended the Shopwatch meeting in the town centre.
PCSO’s Kipling and Todd conducted a Safer Homes Visit on a lady who had suffered criminal damage to her windows.
On Saturday afternoon, a male was arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in Arncliffe Place.
Also on Saturday, a male youth attended the station to be interviewed for a number of offences. The youth will be working with the Youth Offending Team moving forwards to prevent him reoffending.
On Saturday evening, a male was arrested for several shoplifting offences. He was later charged with these offences, remanded and will appeared before court on Monday.
