The Neighbourhood & Response teams, working out of Newton Aycliffe, have been busy responding to a variety of incidents across the area over the past week, here’s a brief update of what has been going on;
On Tuesday, a female was arrested for a public order offence and on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and was transported to custody.
Two well known shoplifters have been arrested over the course of the last week, and one has been remanded and will appear at court next week.
Members of the Neighbourhood Team attended Livin for a partnership meeting, looking at ways to work together better with Livin and Durham County Council for certain issues.
On Saturday, a male was arrested on suspicion of Breaching a Sexual Harm Order.
A number of youths have been spoken to this week after being identified as causing Anti-Social Behaviour across the town.
On Saturday night, a female was arrested for being Drunk & Disorderly, and for assaulting a police officer, she was transported to custody.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, two male youths were arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to custody.
Op Trailblazer patrols are regularly being done across the town, focusing on areas which have been highlighted as hot spot areas for Anti-Social Behaviour.
