Angela Corner Great Aycliffe Community Neighbourhood Engagement Officer is our guest speaker. She was featured in last week’s edition of Newton News.
Angela has been employed by the Town Council to speak to residents, community groups and anyone who has an interest in our great town. She will be asking locals what their views are on the future of the town and these will be fed into the neighbourhood plan which will influence the decisions made by local councils.
This is our last meeting before we have a break in September and we will discuss our A G M and the opening of the M U G A which should be finished by the time you receive this newspaper. I would like parents and young adults to let everyone know this has been built with money raised by locals for locals.
Our meetings are a good opportunity to meet your local councillors, street and park wardens, Livin and when possible the Police. We have a very casual and relaxed meeting and  the only thing we insist you bring is fun and a smile.
