Aycliffe Amateur Boxing Club would like to thank Honest John for his generous donation to help the club with running cost, it is greatly appreciated.
We would also like to thank the many people that turned out to watch the Aycliffe ABC lads box in the Newton Aycliffe WMC on the 4th April your support was very welcome.
A good time was had by all with 12 competitive bouts, on the bill was Jack Gray, Lewis Craggs, Liam Naish, Billy Wade, Harry Condren, Max Oughton, Andrew Chopin, Lee Stevens and Kane Samms, x 3 suporting bouts.
On Saturday 5th April, James Lepoidevin became the England Boxing, National Schoolboy Champion by out pointing Arjan Basi from London, at Huddersfield. His next Challenge is to Box in a Box Off for the opportunity to box for England in the 3 Nations Championships, his opponent is Henry Turner from the Repton Boxing Club London at Sherburn Leisure Centre on Saturday 19th April and we all wish him luck.
