30th November
North Ferriby 2 v Newton Aycliffe 3
Wayne Whitfield was the first to get on the score sheet in this game, in the first half. Liam Jarvie made it 2-0 on the cusp of the hour mark and just 9 minutes later Whitfield doubled his tally with Tom Corner for Ferriby scoring what looked at the time to be a mere consolation goal. It should have been plain sailing from then on, but a red card to Whitfield meant Aycliffe had to soldier on with ten men for what felt like a very long 10 or so minutes, with captain Niall Tilsley making it 3-2 in the 90th minute. Aycliffe held onto the three points, however.
4th December

A few minutes later, however, saw Liam Jarvie make it 1-1, and fellow forward Dean Thexton wrapped it up in the 68th minute in another game where Aycliffe had the majority of control.
