Lots of colour and vibrant music filled the building as Harvest Christian Centre held their Christmas Service. Church Pastor Geoff Walvin said, “As we are a church community made up of people from different cultural backgrounds we were excited to host a Christmas Service of this type. Newton Aycliffe has always been a place which has welcomed newcomers into its community and our service highlighted its warmth and openness.” As well as the UK, India, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Germany, Czech Republic and Lithuania were represented. It was an amazing day. Whether you are new to the area or have lived here for many years we’d love to meet you. The church meets at Bethany Centre, Woodham on Sundays at 10.30am and all are welcome.
