Trevor Blanchard-Wynne moved from Stoke on Trent last year with his family to live in Newton Aycliffe.
He has a love of driving from his time driving coaches and working for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club where he was the first team coach driver and kitman.
Trev wanted to be his own boss, so took the opportunity to combine this with his love for driving and decided that a small delivery service would be ideal.
He bought a little Citroen Despatch van, which can take a pallet or up to a ton in weight, and set up Trev’s Delivery Service.
The business has the aim of picking up and delivering all sorts across the country, however he has some restrictions on what he can deliver. For example, he can’t do full house moves or very large items because he works by himself.
The type of things he can deliver are eBay items, parts and small pieces of equipment, so that people can get on with their jobs, or helping students with their belongings, heading to or coming home from university
Some interesting things already delivered have been a large dolls house which was bought on eBay up to Scotland and a pair of antique tables to London, which were destined for a film set in Europe.
Being a one man operation he has flexibility to do emergency or urgent pick ups and deliveries, including overnight or on a call-out basis, and over long or short distances.
