Coincidentally I was in the process of writing a letter to the Newton News, when my weekly copy arrived through my letterbox, carryng the letter from an Ashfield resident, titled “Yappy Dogs Chorus All Day”.
Almost word for word, it described the same situation I am experiencing here in Woodham.
Not content with just one dog, some owners have two or more. Inevitably, they will be let out into the garden and left to bark at various times during the day. Not one individual culprit, but someone’s dog will be barking in the vicinity throughout the day.
Collectively it is becoming a real nuisance. I can only appeal to these dog owners to consider their neighbours, who do not have dogs, and respect their desire for a little peace and quiet, particularly during the summer months.
Although, we are in a minority, I fear.
