On Sunday’s show we had another instalment of our Money Show with resident financial advisor Michael Stead. The topics discussed included managing your money and the benefits of seeking professional financial advice when you need it. We discussed the difference between a want and a need, and a realistic look at the benefits of downsizing, in order to live within your means and maintain a healthy bank balance. We looked at the tax laws when it comes to making monetary gifts to friends and family, and if you are lucky enough to win big on the lottery, why it pays to get advice before you start to spend, spend, spend.
The second half of the show was given over to pre-recorded interviews with one of our local PCSO Stuart Fotheringham, and a recent interview with Andy Clark, the manager of the OakLeaf Sports Complex.
