County Durham Money Advice Centre is a free face-to face service offering confidential help for anyone struggling with debt or managing their money. Our trained advisors offer advice on debt management, budgeting and benefits. We visit people in their own homes if necessary and assist in completing forms. Operating as part of Durham Christian Partnership and affiliated with Community Money Advice, we do not rely on Government grants nor do we charge our clients fees.
County Durham Money Advice Centre have applied for £25,000 from the Aviva Community fund to continue to provide face to face debt and benefits advice in people’s own homes. Which charities are funded is decided on a public vote. We are asking all our supporters to vote and also spread the word to bring much needed help to the people of County Durham.
