Mini Police from Woodham Burn Primary School carried out community speedwatch on Central Avenue outside of the Police station, to help support Durham Police, Crime & Victims’ Commissioner’s Road Safety Awareness Month 2017.
The students were explained the risks of speeding and also shown around County Durham & Darlington Fire & Rescue Service Station, allowing them to see the equipment they use. The mini police project is funded through Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership – GAMP and helps to teach the future generation. #LookOutForEachOther
