My name is Milli Greener,and I’m a fifteen year old girl who attends Greenfield Community College, Newton Aycliffe.
On the 7th May, my birthday, I donated 7 inches of my hair to a wonderful charity – Little Princess Trust. With your kind donations, I would like to raise £550 for the charity, as this is the approximate cost for a wig to be made.
The charity donates wigs to children free, to those who are suffering from cancer or have suffered from cancer or other hair loss illnesses.
The costs to make one wig are very high and if families were to buy one themselves it would be approximately £2,000.

Milli lost 17 inches of her hair and she was brought to tears as it was being cut off! Her Mum and sister were present to encourage her and express their pride. Lox of Love on Aycliffe Business Park (Tel: 01325 327362) cut Milli’s hair free of charge and in the event Milli found she could not get used to shorter hair, offered to provide extensions which is their speciality.
