North East Theatre Organ Association are very excited to present the fabulous 2016 MIGHTY WURLITZER AWARDS on Thursday 17th November at 7.pm in the New Victoria Centre, HowdenLe-Wear, Nr. Crook, DL15 8EZ which promises to be a Star Studded Spectacular, open to all, so come along and enjoy. The “New Vic Allstars” will be showcasing the Mighty Wurlitzer in all it’s glory with magic sights and sounds playing a wide range of music to suit all. One Special young 17yr old Star is “LEWIS SCOTT” who has recently won the 2016 Young Theatre Organist of the Year at Barnsley. He will thrill everyone with his outstanding ability and musical talents on the Mighty Wurlitzer. Lewis is a NETOA member and has been encouraged to develop his musical talents at the New Victoria Centre travelling from Hull with his parents, well done Lewis, you are a star. To complete the Galaxy of Stars shining at the awards night is fantastic 17yr old soprano “ ROSIE KAT” who sings with the Newcastle Cathedral Girls Choir and has performed in Master classes with singers from English National Opera and Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. A brilliant rising star, Rosie will be accompanied on piano by “BOB CHILTON” who is a nationally acclaimed Master Musician, Choir Conductor, Organist and a New Vic Allstar.
