Woodham Burn Primary are celebrating the arrival of their newest and biggest Reception Class yet! 48 children joined the school in September, the majority from our nursery but others from as far afield as Japan and Poland!
Parents of our new children enjoyed a fantastic ‘meet the teacher’ /McMillan Coffee Morning last Friday when they came into school to visit our foundation stage classrooms and have a cuppa and a slice of home made cake with class teachers Miss Wood and Miss Waller.
They then joined their children in the classroom to look at work and to enjoy the early years curriculum. Donations to McMillan came to over £80.00, making the whole morning a highly successful event. Parents are looking forward to coming back into school for workshops with their children during the autumn term.
