Greenfield Arts were delighted to host their first online ‘meet the artist’ event this week as part of their exhibition programme. Hosted by Greenfield Arts, Bill Hindmarsh was invited to share his work and experience and talk about his current exhibition People and Places.
Bill’s exhibition is an eclectic mix of previously unseen work and work that has drawn upon his experiences in mining. The collection draws upon his experience of People and Places within the North East and reflects some of the rich and vibrant culture and heritage from the area and the wider world. Bill has been a professional artist for twenty years and was thrilled to celebrate this through his exhibition and programme at Greenfield Arts and through the online programme.
Bill was inspirational, approachable and his humour was infectious. The floor was opened for questions from an enthusiastic audience who were keen to find out more about his techniques and inspiration, a lovely experience for all.
The exhibition runs until Wednesday 5 May, you can see Bill’s work via our website or contact our team if you would like to visit the exhibition in The Greenfield Gallery by appointment.
