The Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership (GAMP) will be holding a drop in event to give people a chance to meet the team, find out more about what they do and have a say on neighbourhood issues.
The team will be on hand at the Community Shop (next to the Post Office) in Newton Aycliffe Town Centre, on Tuesday, 18th June between 10am and 2pm.
The partnership is one of 14 set up by Durham County Council in 2009 to help the authority better engage with residents. Those who attend can find out more about becoming a forum member. Being a forum member is a chance for local people to have a real input on where councillor budgets are spent locally and have a say on priorities for the town.
Representatives from Livin will also be in attendance as well as the local Neighbourhood Police Team who will be distributing free security equipment.
