With the launch of Direct Sales into the north east back in April this year, Meditek a stairlift manufacturer based on the Business Park in Newton Aycliffe enjoyed an Open Day, promoting not only their Showroom but a factory tour to see how Stairlifts are designed and manufactured on site. Due to the success on Direct sales they are about to launch into Newcastle, Northumberland and Teesside as well as continuing to look after Newton Aycliffe Darlington Sedgefield and the surrounding areas. The company is growing partnerships with companies such as Supportive in Ferryhill who were previously known as the Social Resource Centre (SRC) established in 1994, delivering high quality, people-centred social care services throughout County Durham and beyond. Meditek donated a Stairlift to Supportive for them to use to help their patients for short term either to help someone recovering from an operation or as long term aid for day to day living. The stair lift will make a big difference in delivering a better quality of life” Nikki Rotherham who manages Direct Sales in the North East comments: “Working together with charities such as Supportive is something we’re really proud of as more people want to stay in their own homes. Being able to be a part of making that happen is a great feeling, working with John and his team and seeing what a difference they make to people’s lives every day is very rewarding too”.
