Noreen Chenery visited McDonalds recently with her two daughters one being 4 years old who received a toy as part of a meal deal.
The Minion Toy however, fell below expectations, as some of the language used by the talking toy sounded like swear words.
Noreen complained to McDonalds who sent a letter of apology, but excused themselves by saying the “Minion” language only coincidentally sounded like a swear word.
Minion is not a recognised language and is made up of a garbled mixture of Japanese, Indian, French and English, but they agreed to pass the complaint to the relevant department.
Noreen’s older daughter Amy brought the toy to Newton News offices along with the letter from McDonalds requesting we print the story as a warning to parents.
