To all those who kindly offered their small change for the Tuppenny Challenge at the Great Aycliffe Show, just over 116 metres of 2p pieces were achieved, raising a magnificent £90.40 towards the Mayor’s Charities.
Together with the Mayor’s tombola stall a total of £503.05 was raised over the two days. The Mayor, Wendy Hillary and her Consort Jed, would like to thank everyone for their kind support with special thanks to Sarah Iveson, Val Raw, Becky Thornton and Jonathon Short who ran the stall.
