The Mayor Mary Dalton, hosted her Charity Golf Day at the Oakleaf Golf Complex on Friday, 4th September 2015. The event was a success with an amount of £427.64 being raised for the Mayor’s nominated charities which are the Renal Unit at James Cook Hospital, Neville Parade Community Centre and Scouts/Guides of Great Aycliffe.

The hospitality tent at the 6th tee was well received and the Mayor would like to thank fellow Councillors Val Raw, Sarah Iveson and Malcolm Iveson for helping with the organisation of the refreshments.
Presentations and dinner were held at The Oakleaf Sports Complex Function Room. Winners of the competition this year were ‘Oakleaf Golf Club’ who were presented with the Annual Golf trophy donated by Hydro Polymers in 2003.
