Town Mayor Barbara Clare and her husband and consort John Clare visited the very popular Youth Club at Agnew Community Centre last Friday.
Our civic leaders spoke to the children, then watched them enjoy games and the tuck shop.
PK All Stars is an after school community kids’ club that meets every Friday at 6pm in the Agnew Centre.
It is open to all children aged 5-10 years of age. The PK All Stars is run by the Pais Project and offers an exciting night full of fun and games.
The project is a global youth and schools organisation. The team is hosted by Xcel Church for the year and is organised by Chris Meyer, Callie Settles from Texas, Karla Sӧlter from Germany and Ebi Natarajan from India. The Pais team is working in 5 schools in the Newton Aycliffe area as well as running the after school club.
If you are interested in PK All Stars you can come any Friday from 6-7:30pm.
The cost is FREE for your first time and then only £1 after that. Be sure to bring extra money for our amazing tuck shop full of all of your favourite sweets!
