The Mayor of Great Aycliffe, Councillor Mrs Mary Dalton, opened the Full STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) Ahead day, held at the Oak Leaf Sports Complex. Many local organisations, businesses and colleges supported the event with most primary schools in Aycliffe attending. The children had the opportunity to test their skills and try out some of the ‘sciency stuff’.
