We have been busy planning a fantastic programme of activities here at Greenfield Arts for the May half term week later this month. Places for our arty sessions have filled up fast, but we still have some places left for our popular Family Cooking sessions with Season to Taste.
Also this half term we have the finale of the project we have been co-ordinating for the past few months: “Out of the Bag!” This project, funded by GAMP AAP, has been a great opportunity for Greenfield Arts to work together with two other local community centres: Woodham Community Association and Agnew Community Centre to encourage families to visit the centres, to see what they have on offer, and to experience free creative activities. As a finale celebration of the project we are holding a free family fun day on Saturday 1st June at Greenfield Arts from 10am to 3pm, including live performances, creative activities, art workshops, food and more. We would like to thank all the local community partners for their support in this great project – and hope to see lots of families from Newton Aycliffe on the day!
