Harrison’s Mascots have finished Tyler’s fundraiser, exactly one year after he started it. Today they donated the final £100 to complete the payments.
The staff behind the scenes at Harrison’s Mascots have worked tirelessly over the summer to make kids dreams come true. Tyler is one of those children!
They ensure that every visit they make, every child they see and every adult they meet, gets the best experience they can.
All the staff are trained and experienced with children and adults with additional needs, this means that no-one misses out when they are visited by these amazing Mascots.
No two visits are the same from these cheeky Mascots. One day they can be singing happy birthday during a 1st birthday party and the next Stitch can be stealing your football whilst being goalie.
Tyler isn’t the only person they have helped. After pledging a portion of their proceeds to Tyler’s fundraising for a 3 month period, they are now helping local man Kris Bradley raise money for Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group during his fight with cancer.
Tyler has worked extremely hard over the past twelve months. He kicked his fundraising off with a bang by swimming a marathon, this was followed by helping the elderly by making their gardens more manageable ready for winter. Tyler’s next challenge was bouncing a basketball for half a marathon, something he amazingly completed in 2hrs 55mins. During the summer Tyler spent a lot of time raising money. He mowed lawns, walked dogs, cleaned cars and carried out lots of chores, just to name a few of the things he did.
Now that Tyler’s fundraiser has come to an end, he would like to thank each and every person that has helped him over the past twelve months. He now has a few months relaxing before the preparations start. Malaysia, I hope you’re ready for Tyler!
