May I, through the Newton News, say thank you to the staff and customers of Tesco Extra in Newton Aycliffe for their warm welcome when I recently held a recruitment stand for Marie Curie volunteers in the store.
As part of my ambition to set up a Marie Curie Fundraising Group in the Town it was excellent to see how many people were keen and enthusiastic to support the charity and raise vital funds.
It’s a very exciting time for Marie Curie, especially in the run up to our 30th Great Daffodil Appeal and if anyone would like more information on how they can get involved, I would love to hear from them.
