Vivien Ellis from Aycliffe Village Local History Society made a visit to the 102 REME Battalion and was given a tour of the Army Reserve Centre, joining officers of the Battalion for coffee and a chat about the long links Aycliffe has with the Armed Forces. Vivien left a copy of the new book “The Great War”, which she co-edited.
