There will be a kinda magic going on at the Civic Hall, Shildon this month, when the CATS Youth Theatre Group perform their latest production “Magical Musicals “.
There will be music from musicals and films such as Wicked, Matilda, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, and many more in the two hour show. Amongst the young people’s cast are Amelia Thistle (Jane Banks), Dylan Goddard (Gaston), Elizabeth Timmiss (Prince), Kenzie Chester (King Triton), Sienna Birkett/Connor Usher (Geppeto), Kodie – Leigh Wilson (Dorothy Gale), Cain Harrison/Eleanor Browning  (Pinocchio), Bradley Lewis  (Caractacus Potts), Bobbie-Jay Banks (Truly Scrumptious), Ellarae Bower (Ursula). Amee-Li Nicholson (Munchkin), and Katherine Bogg (Fairy).
In the dance troupe are Sophie Hodgson, Rose Stenger, Poppy Walker, Evie Tenwick, and Erin Clarke.  Andrew Timmiss will as usual keep an eye on the sound and lighting side of the show.
There will be four performances starting on Thursday 17th, Friday 18th, and Saturday 19th March at 7-30pm with a final show Sunday 20th March at 2pm.
