Locomotion: The National Railway Museum at Shildon is delighted to be hosting the model railway exhibition organised by Shildon Model Railway Club – with layouts and trade stalls during the weekend on Saturday 10 October and Sunday 11 October, 2015.
Shildon Model Railway Club was established in 1982.  The club engages members of all ages to develop their skills in the modellers’ craft. The dedicated group have skills in model and layout building, electronics, joinery, metal work, photography and research in the history of local and national railways.
Come along and find out more, or simply enjoy the scenery of the railway world in miniature! Steam train rides available during the event (a charge applies for this service).
