The “Mind EP’’ by local artist Lew BYG, will be released on 19th May 2019 and will be available to stream and buy from all major platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play and more.
If anyone would like a physical copy of the CD you can contact Lew himself and he will send you one.
It will feature a couple of fellow North East artists such as King Tigaro and Endem from Legitimate Anarchy Records as well as some solo tracks from Lew BYG. A lot of the tracks throughout the project have a lot of reference to mental health issues and are persuading people to speak out more about these things.
All proceeds from the first month after the release date will go to Mind Mental Health charity and Lew BYG is always willing to talk to anyone about any issues they might have or if they want to get into music themselves as he has found it has helped him with his own mental health problems over the years.
We also think this is going to be great for the local area as someone is taking a step forward and trying to make a change with these things, whether people take note or not, it’s good to let people know they’re not alone.
