If photography or picture books are your cup of tea, then you may like to note that a new hardback book by local photographer, pencil artist and sometimes writer, James D Robinson, of Bewick Crescent, Newton Aycliffe, has just been published with the self explanitory title of “This & That, A Photographic Album”.
The 83 black and white images which it presents in an A4 portrait format, offers and eclectic mix of subjects intended to appeal to anyone who simply enjoys looking at images without being assailed by the often pretentious thetoric that frequently accompanies many art and photographic projects.
The design of the book itself was inspired by the long established “Graphis Photo” annuals and will be promoted in an exhibition of his creative endeavours which is due to open in September at the Greenfield Art Gallery.
