County Durham History and Heritage Forum is holding a Local History and Heritage Fair ‘Yesterday Belongs to You’ at New College, Durham from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 9th May. Admission £1.50 with accompanied children free.
The event will be opened by John Grundy the well-known TV Presenter and Historian. More than 70 exhibitors will be attending and outside the Northern Bygone Society will be displaying a variety of classic cars.
Aycliffe and District Bus Preservation Society will be giving visitors the opportunity to ride in the bus featured in the TV Series, “Heartbeat”.  Come along and learn about your local history and heritage and even meet the Romans.
